RARE '39 - '49 Austrian Police (?) drop holster for a Walther PPK Pistol -- age during or postwar is indeterminate.
NEVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE LIKE THIS for a Walther PPK.
A PPK and its magazine fit perfectly, as designed for. Holster is completely original with no alterations or repairs.
The Copper/Brass-tone metal hinges are particularly unique on this style holster, which in a recent Austria Auction, both similar holster were referred to as the *
System Theuermann
*.
There are no markings or date/code stampings on the inside or outside -- those that were marked in ink usually faded over time. VG - Excellent original condition, wear consistent with age and normal use. Valuable to any serious collector of militaria.
