Ersatz WWII German Holster JHG 44 WaA

Description

Nicely designed and rare ersatz Nazi holster that I believe is constructed from laminated paper and fitted with a leather closure strap; typical of the construction towards the end of the war when German leather was scarce. These are fragile holsters, as evidenced by the closure stud having been torn from the holster. Also, the G in the JHG and the 44 on the date stamping are missing or chipped off due to the fragility of these holsters.
